CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, in partnership with the Journal of Financial Stability and in collaboration with Renmin University of China, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Durham University, is delighted to announce the inaugural Annual Conference on Financial Stability, Regulation, and Governance (ACFSRG 2025), to be held in Wuhan, China, on October 9-10, 2025.
Under the theme "Navigating Financial Stability in an Era of Global Uncertainty," ACFSRG 2025 aims to establish a premier international academic platform for scholars, policymakers, regulators, and industry practitioners to exchange insights, address contemporary challenges, and propose innovative solutions in the fields of financial stability, systemic risk management, regulatory frameworks, and governance practices.

TOPICS
The conference organizers invite submissions of papers on all aspects of finance. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
l Macroprudential policy frameworks and systemic risk management;
l Regulation and governance reforms in financial institutions;
l Financial stability and fintech innovation;
l Cross-border financial risks and regulatory coordination;
l Climate change, green finance, and financial system resilience;
l Governance, transparency, and accountability in financial markets;
l Banking sector stability and crisis prevention mechanisms;
l Monetary policy interactions with financial stability;
l Financial stability considerations in emerging economies, etc.

l Clearly provide complete affiliations and contact information in English for all authors. Papers lacking complete author information will be desk-rejected.
l Submitted papers must not have been accepted or conditionally accepted for publication by any journal.
All submissions will undergo peer review by the conference's international Program Committee. Accepted authors are expected to discuss one paper at the conference.

Registration fees cover tea breaks, lunches, dinners, conference venues, and materials. Participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses.
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
Journal of Financial Stability Special Issue
Selected high-quality papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit to a special issue of the Journal of Financial Stability (ABS 3; SSCI-indexed; 2024 Impact Factor: 6.1). Submission to the special issue will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.
